Quotation & Scheduling
- Provide detailed written quotation including:

- Send confirmation email with date, time window, and technician details
Pre-Installation Preparation

Arrival & Setup (30 minutes)
Initial Procedures
- Arrive within specified time window
- Introduction and ID presentation
- Brief customer on installation process and timeline
- Lay down protective floor coverings
- Photograph pre-installation area (for before/after comparison)
System Preparation
- Unpack and inspect Watergate Sonic device
- Verify all components are present and undamaged:
- Sonic smart valve unit
- Power supply unit
- Manual override key
- Mounting hardware
- User manual and documentation
- Set up tools and materials in organized workspace
- Test electrical outlet near installation area
Water System Work (60-90 minutes)
Water Shutdown
- Locate main stopcock/shut-off valve
- Advise customer that water will be turned off
- Shut off main water supply
- Open a tap to release pressure and drain system
- Place bucket under work area to catch residual water
Pipe Preparation
- Measure and mark pipe for cutting
- Cut pipe at marked locations (using appropriate cutting tool for pipe material)
- Deburr cut pipe ends
- Clean pipe surfaces thoroughly
- Apply thread seal tape to pipe threads if required (PTFE thread should NOT be used)
Sonic Installation
- Attach any required adapters to match pipe size
- Install Sonic valve in-line with water flow direction arrow pointing correctly
- Secure connections (tighten to recommended torque of 10 N·m)
- Install any necessary pipe supports
- Ensure unit is level and properly positioned
Leak Testing
- Partially open main stopcock to pressurize system
- Inspect all connections for leaks
- Tighten any leaking connections
- Once leak-free, fully open main stopcock
- Check water flow and pressure
Electronic Setup (30-45 minutes)
Power Connection
- Install power supply unit in appropriate location
- Route power cable neatly (using cable management clips)
- Connect power supply to Sonic valve
